Israel Museum in Jerusalem will open a special exhibit

Botanical Treasury of the Land of Israel

Shmuel Haruvi's drawings illustrate Ephraim and Hannah Hareuveni's research

In cooperation with Neot Kedumim – The Biblical Landscape Reserve

Haruvi's drawings will be exhibited in the Israel Museum together with Ephraim Hareuveni’s draft manuscripts relating to the subject of the drawings, and samples of the galley sheets combining text and drawings that survived from the trial printing of some of the chapters of the Botanical Treasury of the Land of Israel. Also on display will be Ephraim and Hannah Hareuveni's designs and planting layout for the "Garden of the Prophets and Sages," side by side with photographs showing the fulfillment of their vision – decades later – at Neot Kedumim, the Biblical Landscape Reserve.
